Band Spotlight: Adam Curry

Hey BG Nation…we’re back with another band member spotlight. Check out what Adam Curry had to say 🎸…

Q: How long have you been a member of BG’s band?
A: Just a little over a year! I came on just before the tour with Five Finger Death Punch last fall.

Q: Any memories from your first performance with BG?
A: My first show was one of the last shows on the Son of the Dirty South tour with Jelly Roll. I just remember walking out, seeing a sold out room and thinking…”man, don’t trip” haha luckily I did not. However, I did almost run into Brantley like 3 times.

Q: Is there one show with BG that stands out for any particular reason in your memory, and why?
A: On the Nickelback tour we got to play Tinley Park, which is just outside of my hometown near Chicago. It was my first hometown show since joining the BG band – it was a really special night for me and one show I’ll always remember!

Q: Any pre-show rituals?
A: Dark chocolate, red wine, prayer with the dawgs, ten push-ups

Q: Favorite BG song to perform, and why?
A: My favorite song to play currently is “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” That chorus is one of my favorites – especially when the band really digs in and we rock it a little harder.

Q: Favorite place to perform, and why?
A: Though I love getting the opportunity to play arenas and larger rooms…I’m a sucker for a good club. The energy you get in those 1000 cap rooms is unlike anything else.

Q: Tell us one thing fans may not know about BG.
A: Homie loves a good game of kan jam.
